From Lap 1, Marc Marquez, Pecco Bagnaia, and Alex Marquez were locked in a brutal brawl for P1. Pecco came in beast mode, but by Lap 21, Fabio Di Giannantonio made a stunner of a move, slicing into P3 and shaking up the front pack.
Meanwhile, Alex Marquez was riding that older-spec Desmo like he borrowed it from 2023—aggressive, fearless, and ice-cold clinical.
And just like we said in our Mugello pre-race, “If you let Marc loose… he’s taking that podium.”
And guess what? He did.
Despite contact with Pecco, Marc clawed to the front and shut it down. Took P1. Mugello now echoes with his legacy.
But chaos wasn’t done.
Frankie Morbidelli collided with Maverick Viñales in Lap 19. Mav hit the gravel. Frankie got slapped with a long-lap penalty but came back swinging—finished P6. That’s fighter energy.
Marco Bezzecchi was the dark horse—quiet, composed, and absolutely brilliant on tyre management. P5 in the bag.
Zarco? Another DNF.
Bastianini? Out by Lap 2.
And Marc?
That win wasn’t just another number—it was #93.
Same as the number on his bike.
That’s not coincidence. That’s destiny.
